Merry Christmas
Started this blog thing over a year ago, suppose it is time to start posting updates.
Christmas is coming up soon, a wonderful time to spend with family, friends and loved ones. We would love to be home with family for the actual day of Christmas, celebrating early will have to do. We are happy to be able to celebrate with them in person this year even if it will be a couple weeks early.
Air Force life is returning us to Japan for the Holiday. We will be "home" with dada. Very happy to have him home for Christmas.
Some may be wondering what is taking us back to Japan right before Christmas. It is a long and confusing story, as with most AF stories. Jared is waiting on word to see if he will be picked up for Weapons School that begins in January in Vegas. Due to this program being pretty intense he needs to do some training flights to prepare. These will take place over the last few weeks of December in Japan. Therefore he will be there for Christmas and we don't want him there all alone. In the event he does get a last minute call to attend Weapons School we will be packing out the house on short notice. Meaning I will be needed at home to help with the process. If he does not get selected this time around he will try again for the summer class. So we wait... to see what our future holds. Standard AF process: "Hurry up and Wait".
We have been home the last month! It has been alot of fun being with family. Makes me miss being back in the States even more. Following are some pictures of the last few weeks.

Happy to see Grandpa Home
Until next time,
Lindsay
